Life is – if you’re lucky – long and, if you’re fortunate, you’ll have the opportunity to experience shared love with an equal. It’s different from friendship; it’s different from parents and children; it’s different from loving but not being loved equally in return. It’s as if your life forces meld and you find yourselves in the flow together, separate physically – as we must be, one from another – but One in Spirit, One in Energy. The art of Give-and-Take becomes inherent in every exchange and no matter how troubled the seas, the two move through it as One.
I never knew this love until I was in my 60’s. I stand amazed… it fills my soul with wonder every day.
